Mark R. Weaver, Esq.
Mark R. Weaver is an award-winning national Republican political consultant and election law attorney. Over the last three decades, he has advised more than 700 political campaigns in 18 states.
The Youngstown Vindicator called him, "the most prominent and successful political consultant in Ohio." The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review agreed, calling him, "among the top political strategists in the country.” Campaigns and Elections magazine named Mr. Weaver to its “Influencer 500” list of the top political players (of either party) in America, also naming him among the top five GOP influencers in Ohio.
In 2017, he authored the book, A Wordsmith's Work which shares various writings from his career and shares tips for different styles of writing such as ghost-writing, crafting op-eds, communicating in a crisis, and writing speeches. The book is available here.
Early in his career, Mr. Weaver was a Communications Director with the Republican Caucus of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and ran a Philadelphia-area political consulting firm. Later, as a national communications consultant, he worked one-on-one with Ronald Reagan. Mr. Weaver has advised many GOP candidates for Governor, U.S. Senate, Congress, state Supreme Court Justice, and statewide office. He has also advised the Republican legislative caucuses in the Ohio House, the Ohio Senate, the South Dakota Senate, and the Pennsylvania House.
Mr. Weaver has worked on dozens of ballot issue campaigns and remains undefeated in nearly a dozen statewide ballot issue campaigns in Ohio.
He has written hundreds of campaign plans, supervised countless polls and focus groups, and produced thousands of TV and radio commercials -- winning three Telly awards, 12 Pollie awards, and four Reed awards from Campaigns and Elections magazine. He regularly addresses conferences and campaign seminars across America.
For 20 years, Mr. Weaver taught graduate courses in Election Law and Advanced Campaign Management at the University of Akron and Media Law at The Ohio State College of Law. He’s currently an Adjunct Professor at the School of Government at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2004, he was one of the lead attorneys and strategists in the legal efforts surrounding President Bush's election and recount in Ohio.
Mr. Weaver earned Bachelors and Masters degrees in Public Administration from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania, where he has received more alumni awards than any other graduate of that institution. As an undergraduate, he served a Fellowship with the Center for the Study of the Presidency.
He earned his Juris Doctorate from the Delaware Law School of Widener University, where he graduated in the top 15% of his class. In 2004, the University of Akron awarded Mr. Weaver an honorary degree in Applied Politics. From 2011-12, he was Distinguished Chairman of the Bliss Institute of Applied Politics at the University of Akron.

Mr. Weaver and his wife Lori reside in Central Ohio, and they are the proud parents of two children.
Mr. Dole is a political consultant based in Columbus, Ohio. He has served as volunteer, county chair, general and media consultant to over 200 candidates, committees and PACs. He has produced television ads, radio ads, web videos and collateral materials that have been recognized with both Pollie Awards and Reed Awards.
From 2004-2006, Mr. Dole published the political "Lincoln Logs" Blog, which was consistently ranked among the top ten most influential Ohio political blogs during its operation.
As a commentator on political campaigns, he's been interviewed or published by, among others, the Marietta Times, Newark Advocate, ABC News, Al Arabiya television and Haitian National Television.
In addition to his work in politics, Dole is involved with the preservation of political history with the American Political Item Collectors (APIC). He has been active in community service where he has served on the boards of the Licking County Humane Society, American Association of Political Consultants Midwest Chapter, Central Ohio Eye Bank Development Board, and local boards for Habitat for Humanity, Easter Seals, the American Red Cross. He’s an active member of Lions International and serves as an alumni mentor through Delta Tau Delta Fraternity at Marietta College.
Dole is a graduate of Marietta College and is active as a mentor through Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He lives in Newark, Ohio where the Newark Advocate named him one of Licking County's 2016 "20 under 40" young leaders.
Ryan Stubenrauch has more than a decade of experience as an attorney, communications advisor and political strategist to a wide range of clients. Mr. Stubenrauch has worked on numerous statewide political campaigns including serving as communications director and spokesperson for Governor Mike DeWine in 2010, 2014, and 2018.
He has also consulted on grassroots, strategy, and media tactics with many other campaigns for the Ohio General Assembly, U.S. Congress, U.S. Senate, Ohio Attorney General, Ohio Auditor of State, and Ohio judicial races at every level from County Court to the Ohio Supreme Court.
Since 2006, Mr. Stubenrauch has developed close working relationships with members of TV, radio, and print media in every Ohio region. He is regularly quoted on political issues in both Ohio and national news publications and appears on Sunday political programs in central Ohio.
Mr. Stubenrauch has wide ranging interests in policy and issues involving media, politics, government and the law. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University and Capital University Law School. He and his wife Josie live in Lewis Center, Ohio, where they are the proud parents of three children.
Ms. Stecker has a wide range of political and governmental experience. She was a Senior Aide in the Ohio House of Representatives, working for several members including Representative Bill Coley, then-Speaker Pro Tempore Gary Cates, and she worked closely with Representative John Willamowski, while he was Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.
Ms. Stecker has provided advice and assistance to several Ohio political campaigns ranging from Erie County Commissioner to the U.S Congress. She was the successful 2002 campaign manager for then-State Representative Merle Kearns in her bid for re-election and in 2004, she managed the campaign for Tom Gerber in the 96th Ohio House District. During those campaigns, Ms. Stecker gained first hand experience with effective grassroots tactics. It's that experience that she draws on to advise grassroots advocacy organizations on their operational organization, day to day activities, and overall grassroots strategy.
She has unique experience with online issue advocacy. She's actively involved furthering the digital strategy for two different statewide advocacy groups - writing blog posts and Ms. Stecker is an alumnus of GenevaCollege (Beaver Falls, PA) where she earned a degree in Political Science. She is also a graduate of the Republican National Committee's CampaignManagementCollege, an elite program where those active in campaigns from all around the country gather and learn about campaign tactics and strategies from each other and experts in the field.
She is a member of the Jo Ann Davidson Ohio Leadership Institute, a program designed to encourage and prepare women to take on more major leadership roles in the community, in the politics, and in government.
Alex Pavloff is a political consultant with experience in nearly every facet of campaigning, including public opinion research, digital media, and grassroots activism creating a multi-layered skill set for to put to work for clients. Alex has volunteered for and advised over 30 campaigns, at every level of government.
He has worked for The Summit County Board of Elections, The National Republican Senatorial Committee, and served as a radio correspondent during the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland. He chairs the Summit County Young Republicans and is the Executive Vice Chair of the Ohio Young Republicans.
He is a graduate of the Ray C. Bliss Institute of Applied Politics at The University of Akron, and should defend his Master’s Thesis shortly. Alex’s academic research focuses on the efficacy of grassroots voter contact in competitive versus non-competitive elections.
Alex lives in Akron, Ohio, where he is actively involved in local politics, the Community Affairs Board of Ideastream, and the heroin addiction recovery community.
